MOVIE THEATER
Dying can wait (06/10)

James Bond is off duty and enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. But his respite is short-lived as CIA agent Felix Leiter makes his return to ask for his help. His mission, which is to rescue a kidnapped scientist, will turn out to be more treacherous than expected, and lead 007 on the trail of a villain possessing particularly dangerous new technology.
After having worn the legendary spy's costume 5 times, Daniel Craig here bows out in this flagship role.
Eiffel (13/10)

Having just finished his collaboration on the Statue of Liberty, Gustave Eiffel is at the height of his career. The French government wants him to create something spectacular for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris. But Eiffel is only interested in the metro project. Everything changes the day he crosses paths with his childhood sweetheart. Their forbidden relationship inspires him to change the Paris skyline forever.
This Franco-German film features the handsome Romain Duris in the title role of Gustave Eiffel.
Venom: Let there be carnage (20/10)

After choosing investigative journalist Eddie Brock as its host, the alien symbiote Venom must face a new enemy named Carnage, who happens to be the alter ego of serial killer Cletus Kasady.
Tom Hardy is back here in this sequel in his character of Venom.
Halloween Kills (20/10 in France – 15/10 in Canada)

The famous Michael Myers and his prey Jamie Lee Curtis are back, again! Indeed, the sequel to the 2018 version is still coming out just in time for Halloween.
It's been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a Halloween attack by Michael Myers. Locked away in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus ride goes horribly wrong. Now she faces a terrifying confrontation when the masked killer returns to Haddonfield. But this time, Laurie is ready.
(Personally, I'm not sure that yet another reboot will work. You have to know when to stop at some point ;-))
Dune (22/10)

The event of this fall. This film features the most French of Americans, Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson.
The pitch: In 10191, Emperor Shaddam IV reigns over the universe. He will establish an alliance with the Harkonnens of the planet Geidi Prime to eliminate the Atreides dynasty from the galaxy, and their leader, Duke Leto, of the planet Caladan. To achieve this, he sends the Atreides to the planet Arrakis, also called Dune, where they must be assassinated by the terrible Harkonnens.
Him (27/10 in France)

A composer lacking inspiration has just left his wife and children. He thinks he will find refuge in an old house on the side of a cliff, on a deserted Breton island. In this strange and isolated place, he will find only an out-of-tune piano. As well as visitors determined not to leave him in peace.
Guillaume Canet plays here again in front of and behind the camera, this screenplay written during confinement.
There is a 4-star cast with Virginie Efira, Mathieu Kassowitz and Laetitia Casta.
CATCH-UP SESSION
The Madwomen’s Ball (09/17) – Amazon Prime

After revealing to her grandmother that she is in contact with spirits, Eugénie is forcibly taken by her father to the Salpêtrière hospital. The women who are interned there are the guinea pigs of male therapists. Notably the famous doctor Jean-Martin Charcot. The latter has conducted research on hysteria and is considered a pioneer of neurology.
Mélanie Laurent plays several roles here: actress and director of this very sober film. Telling the story of these 3 women from a time when it was not good to be part of the "weaker" sex.
SERIES
Family Business season 3 (Netflix – 08/10)

After a spectacular kidnapping, the Hazans find themselves prisoners of a rival gang, somewhere in South America... They will have to count on the ingenuity and legendary talent of each member of the family to escape, in their own way.
In this final season, we are pleased to once again find Jonathan Cohen in his main role, as well as Gérard Darmon.
You (Netflix – 15/10)

Actor Penn Badgley will once again play the role of a well-respected bookseller.
But whose romantic obsessions lead to harassment and murder.
The most famous stalker on the small screen is back and we can't wait to see him again!
Locke and Key season 2 (Netflix – 10/22)

In a fight for their lives, Tyler, Kinsey and Bode use the power of their own keys against the demon. This before temporarily gaining the upper hand. They waste no time in sending it back through the interdimensional portal.
It is an adaptation of the eponymous comics by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
CATCH-UP SESSION
Dr Death (NBC – 12/09)

The plot is inspired by the story of Christopher Duntsch, a Texan neurosurgeon who was convicted of serious professional misconduct that resulted in the deaths of several patients.
The series is inspired by a podcast series broadcast on Wondery Media.
This mini-series has a superb cast. Whether it's Joshua Jackson in the role of Duntsch or Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin.
