Series that marked our childhood – Part 1
These TV series, sitcoms or cartoons, accompanied our days.
In this article, we take a look back at the series that marked our childhood.
(Millennial friends, growing up in the 80s, nostalgia moment.
Generation Z and Co., sorry " as the young say (I feel old just writing it), but you can move on ;-))
- Dorothée Club, who enchanted our afternoons for 10 years (1987-1997)

– Nicky Larson

– Knights of the Zodiac
(I remember I was in love with one of the characters, I don't remember his name, but the one with long hair for those who know. When he died in the cartoon, I was A-NE-AN-T-Y haha)
– Sailor Moon
- Juliette I love you
– Jeanne and Serge
– Candy (to name just a few)
And the series with Dorothée and the Dorothée Club (No mercy for croissants etc)
- Alf (from 1988 in France)

One evening, in a respectable residential suburb, the members of the Tanner family hear a deafening noise. A spaceship goes through the roof and crashes into their garage. To their great surprise, a strange being, covered in hair, bursts out of the saucer. It is Gorton Shumway, affectionately nicknamed Alf, the last survivor of the planet Melmac who will soon upset the quiet little life of his foster family, as well as that of the house cat!
- Arnold & Willy (from 1982 in France)

Philip Drummond, a wealthy New York businessman, lives in a luxurious apartment with his daughter Virginia. When his housekeeper dies, according to her last will, he takes in her two sons, Arnold and Willy, who grew up in the deprived neighborhood of Harlem…
- Parker Lewis never loses (from 1992 in France)

Each episode tells the adventures and misfortunes of a trio of high school students led by Parker Lewis. He is always there to get into mischief with Mikey, his musician friend, and Jerry, his intellectual friend. Unfortunately, the head supervisor, cantankerous and inflexible, does not see it that way: Miss Musso tries by all means to subdue Parker, in which she is helped by Frank Lemmer, her assistant, and sometimes by Shelly, the protagonist's younger sister and pest.
- Saved by the Bell (from 1991 in France)

Zack, Slater, Screech, Lisa, Kelly and Jessie are six inseparable friends who all attend Bayside High School in California. Their daily life is a series of crazy adventures, which most often end in the office of principal Richard Belding.
- Mc Gyver (1985-1992)

The series revolves around the character Angus MacGyver (known to his friends as "MacGyver" or "Mac"), whose main asset is his application of his scientific knowledge and inventive use of the objects at his disposal, while using only his Swiss Army knife and duct tape.
- AB Productions sitcoms :
Helen and the boys (1992-1994) (and its sequels: The miracle of love, the holiday of love)

First Kisses (1991-1995)

The girls next door (1993-1995)
Honey and bees (1992-1994)
Hello musclemen (1989-1994)
The College of Broken Hearts (1992-1993)
Philosophy according to Philippe (1995-1996)
So, it certainly doesn't make us any younger.
But every time I come across an excerpt from one of these series, it makes me nostalgic for what was done at the time, even if it seems like another time for the new generation today 😉
