Back-to-school blues or how to combat it

The holidays are over, Exit the Sea, Sex and Sun (well at least for 2 out of the 3)

Hello again to alarm clocks, public transport and overloaded email boxes.
This year more than anything else, coming out of these months of confinement, returning to one's routine can sting doubly.
But don’t panic, here are some tips to combat those post-holiday blues.

We take a deep breath and start again gently

Resume calmly from the start, without stressing yourself out, given the mountain of files that awaits you.

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

There’s no need to put pressure on yourself by trying to do everything in one day. Go at your own pace, organize your days well and, above all, take breaks.

If we don't want to risk finding ourselves on our knees before the end of autumn.

· We set goals and embark on new projects

Create new challenges, take stock, start a new activity, develop internally or change jobs.

Vacations allow us to take stock, to step back and see more clearly upon returning what we want and what we no longer want in our lives and, above all, it motivates us to make a welcome change in our lives.

· We are planning our next vacation

Yes, you're going to tell me that you're already paying off your last vacation which has only just ended.

But precisely, planning a new trip as soon as you get back is motivating, even if your bank account is currently in the red, or you no longer have any vacation time to take.

Planning your next trip, planning a draft itinerary, looking at good addresses, accommodation or even photos to get an idea, does us good for morale.

So allow yourself to dream!

· We are learning

Back to school means new cultural events of all kinds.

LThe 6 most anticipated series of the new school year)

It's up to you to buy the new bestseller of the new school year, go to the cinema, start watching a new series or even follow this new TV program to take your mind off things.

· We're going out

Back to school is not an end in itself

Summer doesn't end until September 22nd according to the latest news, provided that the Indian summer is mild and pushes the last rays of sunshine until October.

So enjoy while there is still time: continue the barbecues, the aperitifs on terraces with friends, stroll through the small markets, party, in short, have fun!

We take advantage of our lunch breaks to eat on the terrace, we can even telework while we're at it. After all, we might as well combine business with pleasure.

And then nothing stops you from planning a weekend, and taking a break from your daily life from time to time.

There are all types of formulas nearby and inexpensive.

Story of coming back re-energized and full of energy to start a new week.

· We get dressed

For those of you like me who have been or are still working from home for a very (TOO) long time, the start of the school year means for many a gradual return to the office.

And who says return to the office, says being able to finally dress up a little, to get out that little blazer that's been catching your eye in your wardrobe or those jeans that make your butt look amazing.

Or even put on that little red lipstick that suits your complexion so well (OK, I agree, the challenge is to manage to keep it on your lips long enough, wearing a mask requires it).

And if the sun is still out, nothing is stopping you from extending the summer a little by wearing your pretty skirts, light outfits and espadrilles of all kinds.

· We're getting (back) into sport

We have to work off all the mojitos and good holiday food.

Much like New Year's resolutions, the goal is to get back in shape.

And if we are not into sport as such, we find a new activity, a new challenge to energize our daily lives.

· We are having fun

Back to school is often synonymous with changes.

We change our look to get THE back-to-school haircut, we redo our wardrobe, we change our eating habits or we let ourselves go with a good invigorating massage.

Taking care of yourself will help you get through the recovery period.

· We meet our friends or family again

Finally, for those who spent the summer a little far from their loved ones, here and there, think about the pleasure of getting together again around a good meal, telling the story of your trip and showing your photo albums.

A way to extend the holidays in a way.
