SPA Bota Bota

In Montreal, Nordic and Scandinavian spas are plentiful.

The best known and not the least is the Bota Bota, nicknamed the “spa-on-the-water”.

Located on the Old Port of Montreal, it is a former ferry converted into a floating spa, with a view of the city center in the background.

With a surface area of 3000 m2 and established on 5 decks dedicated to well-being: baths, relaxation areas, a massage therapy center, beauty treatments, yoga and pilates classes and a restaurant

Gardens were even added in 2015, providing greenery to these relaxing settings.

The water circuit is a sensory experience, inspired by Nordic baths.
We then move from heat to cold, from a dry sauna to a bath not exceeding 10°C, before relaxing on one of the many terraces or in one of the hammocks.

It's always a new experience whether you go in the middle of winter with the snow or in the middle of summer with its humid heat.

By the way, I recommend the evening experience, with a view of the illuminated buildings of the city while relaxing in the jacuzzi on one of the outdoor decks, the steam escaping. Simply magical….
