
Film / TV releases in March 2022
If you no longer know which films to watch or which series to binge-watch, here is a selection of the new releases for the coming month.
MOVIES
The Batman (02/03 in theaters)

Pitch: In his second year of crime-fighting, Batman explores the corruption in Gotham and how it may be connected to his own family, the Waynes. At the same time, he investigates the murders of a crime scene mystery criminal named the Riddler.
A film awaited by fans of the genre, Robert Pattinson plays the iconic black character. Zoe Kravitz is Catwoman. According to the first lucky ones to have seen it, this film is described as terrifying and very graphic.
Lost in the Arctic (02/03 on Netflix)

Pitch: Two men exploring Greenland in search of a lost map must fight for survival. Inspired by the true story of the 1909 Danish polar expedition.
The trailer for the film sets the stakes of what this expedition represents. With what promises to be a real survival. The characters will therefore be confronted with the elements until they lose their minds. The trailer gives a glimpse of the protagonists' meltdowns.
Adam Across Time (11/03 on Netflix)

Pitch: A man is forced to travel back in time to enlist the help of his 13-year-old self…
Here too, the casting is ambitious. With no less than Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Zeldana and Jennifer Garner on the bill.
Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck Wild (03/25 on Disney+)

Pitch: Eager for independence and always looking for thrills, possum brothers Crash and Eddie decide to look for a habitat of their own, but will quickly find themselves trapped under the ice, in a huge underground cave inhabited by dinosaurs. Rescued by their friend Buck Wild, an eccentric one-eyed weasel, they will together and with the help of new friends embark on a mission to save the lost world from the domination of the dinosaurs.
This is the sixth installment of the prehistoric adventures of the possums and other dinosaurs of Ice Age. A saga that began in cinemas in 2002 and which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
In the Body by Cédric Klapisch (30/03 in theaters)

Pitch: Elise, 26, is a great classical dancer. She gets injured during a show and learns that she will no longer be able to dance. From then on, her life will be turned upside down, Elise will have to learn to repair herself... Between Paris and Brittany, through encounters and experiences, disappointments and hopes, Elise will get closer to a contemporary dance company. This new way of dancing will allow her to find new momentum and also a new way of living.
It features a 4-star cast: François Civil, Pio Marmai, Denis Podalydes, Muriel Robin… With Marion Barbeau, prima ballerina of the Paris Opera, in the lead role. It is a film in homage to dance

– Pieces of her season 1 (4/03 on Netflix)

Pitch: The day she invites him to a restaurant to celebrate his 31st birthday, the meal turns into a disaster when a teenager bursts in and threatens to kill everyone. Laura tries to defuse the situation and manages to do so in an unexpected burst of violence.
The series will consist of eight episodes, all directed by Minkie Spiro, a regular in the world of television. With the essential Toni Collette in the role of the mother, Laura.
Upload season 2 (11/03 on Amazon Prime)

Pitch: The series is set in a technologically advanced future where humans can choose to be "uploaded" into a virtual afterlife. Nathan is a developer who suddenly dies and finds himself in one of these afterlives.
In the second season, Nathan will have to make choices: his ex-girlfriend Ingrid suddenly finds herself in Lakeview, with the hope of saving their relationship, but his heart secretly leans towards his assistant Nora.
This season 2 will have to answer several questions:
How did Ingrid upload herself to Lakeview (was it suicide)? How will the love triangle between Nathan, Nora, and Ingrid (or square, if you include Byron) be resolved? What will be the future of Nathan and Jamie's Beyond program? Plus, who exactly murdered Nathan?
Riverdale season 6 part 2 (03/21 on Netflix)

Pitch: This first part of the season was a little bit special since it took place in the parallel universe of Riverdale. A sort of much more dangerous alternative reality in which many characters died.
As for the second part of the season, it will take place in Riverdale. But, the events of Riverdale will have an impact, more or less important, on the daily life of the inhabitants of Riverdale. Some of them could even lose their lives.
The Bridgerton Chronicles – Season 2 (03/25 on Netflix)

Pitch: Driven by his duty to honor his family, Anthony's search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems doomed until Kate and her younger sister Edwina Sharma arrive from India. When Anthony begins courting Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions—a love match is not high on his list of priorities—and resolves to do everything in her power to stop the match. But in the process, Kate and Anthony's quarrels only bring them closer together, complicating matters on both sides. Across Grosvesnor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome their new heir while Penelope continues to navigate society, keeping her biggest secret from those she is closest to.
Based on the novel saga by Julia Quinn, Chris Van Dusen's series is expected to run for eight seasons, each focusing on one of the children of the noble family. Bridgerton. After the romance of Daphne, the eldest daughter of the clan, the showrunners are turning this season to a male character: Anthony Bridgerton. The eldest of the boys and the head of the family since the death of his father.
This series was a hit on Netflix during the lockdown. Followed by more than 63 million subscribers, the sequel is eagerly awaited.
