The 6 most anticipated series of the 2021 school year
Are you looking for new series ideas to get you through the new school year?
After a period disrupted by numerous series postponements, you will now be spoiled for choice in the face of the busy television season ahead.
Here are the 6 series that we will binge-watch when we return from vacation.
· La Casa de Papel – season 5 part 1 (released on 03/09 – Netflix)

With this first part of its fifth and final season, the eponymous series will begin its farewell. We will find our favorite team of robbers who, locked up for more than 100 hours in the Bank of Spain, will have to find a way to escape.
New characters, new heist and ever more perilous situations, this season will undoubtedly offer an explosive finale.
· Lucifer – season 6 and finale (released 10/09 – Netflix)

One more season before saying goodbye to the nicest devil on the small screen.
And apparently this final season promises to give us a very moving conclusion according to the series' co-showrunner, Joe Henderson.
Get your tissues ready!
· The Morning Show – season 2 (released 09/17 – Apple TV+)

Almost two years after the release of the first episodes, The Morning Show will make its big comeback.
Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson are back for a second season! After the sex scandal that the two morning show hosts brought to light, they now have to deal with the consequences.
· A million little things – season 4 (released on 09/22)

This family drama series follows a close-knit group of friends who are inspired to live more meaningful and healthy lives after one of their friends dies by suicide. The drama highlights how they deal with grief and support each other in times of need..
Not very cheerful at first glance, huh? I grant you that.
But contrary to appearances, the characters all bring something in their own way to the plot, the series courageously dealing with serious subjects such as suicide, sexual harassment as well as infidelity for example.
It's a series about a group of friends who end up forming a family because they find in their friends the help and support that they didn't necessarily get in their respective families. They are always there for each other, through thick and thin.
This series can really speak to everyone.
A great discovery in recent years for me in any case!
. You – season 3 (released 10/15 – Netflix)

The biggest stalker on the small screen is back.
Played by Penn Badgley, the character of Joe Goldberg returns with his excessive obsessions with women.
As a reminder, the last season ended with the meeting of his new neighbor, who could become a new target in the rest of the series.
In the short trailer recently released, the bookseller is baking a cake to celebrate the birth of his son, Henry.
Around fifteen new characters should join this new season.
· Dexter: New Blood – season 9 (released 07/11 – Showtime)

Dexter is going to have its revival, 8 years after the end of the famous series.
The latter takes place 10 years after the end of season 8 and focuses on the new identity of Dexter who, under the name of Jim Lindsay, has exiled himself in the small fictional town of Iron Lake in the state of New York, where he sells hunting weapons to go incognito. But the demons of his past are never far away.
The first images also reveal that the latter would be in a relationship with... a policewoman. Which, it must be admitted, does not seem like the best idea...
