You move forward, you keep going\u2026 And yet, there are those moments when you feel something resisting. Like a little voice preventing you from being completely at peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because, yes, you still live with your childhood wounds. They&#039;re invisible, but they&#039;re there. They creep into your relationships, your anger, and even your silences. When you&#039;re afraid of being abandoned, it&#039;s not really the adult you are who&#039;s trembling, it&#039;s the child inside you who remembers. When you exhaust yourself trying to prove that you are <em>\u00ab&quot; enough &quot;\u00bb<\/em>, It&#039;s because a part of you is still waiting for that reassuring look, that comforting word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And sometimes, you feel it very strongly: you react as if you were still a child. You cry more than necessary, you withdraw into yourself, you become defensive, you compare yourself. You blame yourself, you tell yourself: <em>\u00ab&quot;But why am I like this? I should be stronger, more mature, more... I don&#039;t know... stable.&quot;\u00bb<\/em> No, you&#039;re just human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What you carry within you isn&#039;t a weakness. It&#039;s a memory. Your body, your heart, your mind have recorded what you&#039;ve missed, what has left its mark. You can try to ignore it, but it always comes out in the end. Not to punish you, not to slow you down. Just so you can finally hear it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And perhaps that&#039;s what true growth is: stopping the struggle against your wounds and starting to walk with them. Looking at them without shame, without anger. Because they tell your story. They explain where you come from. They&#039;ve made you sensitive and attentive to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So yes, you&#039;re still living with your childhood wounds. But today, you can tell them that you&#039;re taking over, that you no longer need to be afraid like before. You can learn to calm them. You can become the adult that child would have needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And when you start doing it, you discover something amazing: you&#039;re not damaged, you&#039;re not broken.
