Oh, him, no way.&quot;<\/em><br>Dating apps are this digital jungle where people meet through small gestures.<br><em>&quot;Hi, how are you?&quot; &quot;What are you doing this weekend?&quot;<\/em><br>And it&#039;s supposed to be exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But deep down, you&#039;re tired.<br>Tired of having to play this game where everyone else seems to have more choices than you,<br>and where you often find yourself telling yourself that you&#039;re just exhausted from these conversations that go nowhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But you end up asking yourself, as you swipe:<br><em>What if it was him this time?<\/em><br>But you also know it could be another one <em>&quot;We&#039;ll meet up one of these days.&quot;<\/em> which will never see the light of day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then you come across this video. A really cute video.<br>A very cute dog, looking at the camera with his big innocent eyes.<br><em>\u201cI\u2019m at the SPA, adopt me!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is there, waiting, with his innocent little look that says to you:<br><em>\u201cCome get me, I have no expectations. No questions about my ex. No weird conversations about our life plans. Just cuddles and kibble.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You let yourself be tempted and tell yourself that maybe, just maybe this dog would be a good option.<br>You could go home to someone who won&#039;t judge you if you&#039;re already in your pajamas at 5 p.m.<br>Who won&#039;t have text messages waiting at 3am.<br>And frankly, there are worse things than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get lost in the idea:<br>a dog curling up next to you on the couch,<br>waiting for you at the door after a day&#039;s work.<br>He&#039;s not going on a business trip for a week,<br>he&#039;s not going to ignore your messages,<br>He&#039;s not going to ask himself if you have to make an effort for him.<br>No, he will be there, with his warm little nose and his look that says to you:<br><em>&quot;No matter who you are, I just need a little attention and food. And I&#039;ll be faithful.
